The sexy socialite Kim Kardashian, 30, received a beautiful surprise from her NBA star boyfriend, Kris Humphries. On May 18, 2011, Humphries proposed to Kardashian in her Beverly Hills residence. The proposal itself was described as fairy tale-like. On bended knee, the 26 years old New Jersey Nets player waited for the second oldest Kardashian sister in her bedroom to pop the question. Instead of asking her verbally, the sentence “Will you marry me?” was written on her bedroom floor with rose petals. With the proposal, Humphries presented her with a 20.5 carat diamond ring which is estimated to have cost him not less than $2 million. When interviewed by PEOPLE magazine, the Armenian-American beauty said she was surprised as she did not expect that the proposal would happen in her house. The star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians has been together Humphries for six months, and they started dating after she broke up with model Gabriel Aubry in December 2010.
